MSIA 2025 Year in Review

As we close 2025, MSIA is pleased to share our President’s Year-End Message, reflecting on a year of meaningful progress for Malaysia’s semiconductor industry and the continued strength of collaboration across the ecosystem.

In his message, Dato' Seri SH Wong highlights MSIA’s efforts in delivering value to members, strengthening engagement with the government, and deepening regional and international partnerships.

A key milestone was the successful organisation of the inaugural ASEAN Semiconductor Summit (ASEMIS 2025), reinforcing MSIA’s role as a platform for regional collaboration in talent development, innovation, and supply chains.

Looking ahead to 2026, MSIA remains committed to supporting Malaysia’s transformation from “Made in Malaysia” to “Made by Malaysia”, accelerating the National Semiconductor Strategy (NSS), and positioning Malaysia not only as the heart of semiconductor manufacturing, but also as a brain of innovation.

We thank our boards, MSIA members, partners, government ministries and agencies, academia, and stakeholders for your continued trust and collaboration as we work together to strengthen Malaysia’s position in the global semiconductor ecosystem.
