Business Sweden Asia-Pacific & MSIA Signed MoU to Strengthen Semiconductor Collaboration

MSIA and Business Sweden Malaysia have exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance innovation, sustainability, and supply chain resilience across both nations’ semiconductor ecosystems.

The signing took place during the Sweden–Malaysia Semiconductor Roundtable 2025, witnessed by H.E. Niklas Wiberg, Swedish Ambassador to Malaysia, and senior leaders from companies such as ABB, Axis Communications, ASSA ABLOY Group, Innowave Tech, ams OSRAM, WAFTECH, Monitor ERP, Nefab, Critical Manufacturing, Texchem Group, Prolific Cargo Services (PG) Sdn. Bhd., ECTrons Sdn. Bhd., and UOB.

This milestone aligns with Malaysia’s National Semiconductor Strategy (NSS) and leverages Sweden’s strengths in Industry 4.0, sustainable manufacturing, and digitalisation, creating new opportunities in technology advancement, talent development, and bilateral investment.
