MSIA had the pleasure of visiting Infineon Technologies Melaka for an insightful session exploring their world-class operations and advanced manufacturing capabilities.

Highlights from the visit

Started at the Visitor Experience Center, where Infineon shared the Melaka site’s journey — from its history and patent milestones to award-winning achievements.

Followed by a comprehensive overview of Infineon Melaka, including its products, workforce scale, global manufacturing footprint, and vision for the future.

Went on a window tour of production lines at Block 3 & Block 4, gaining valuable insights into key manufacturing processes guided by Infineon’s Module Head.

Visited the MARS (Manufacturing Action & Response Satellite) Room, where real-time production status, output tracking, and downtime monitoring were showcased.

Continued to Block 8, further demonstrating Infineon’s cutting-edge manufacturing excellence — and wrapped up with a warm lunch hosted by the Infineon team.
